Around my area they were labeled Hot Dog Caddies. The only reference to them I could ever find were conversations on forums where others asked about the Caddies brand.

I found a January 2021 comment I made about them here, but I used the same pick as you, Nancy. Man, I miss those things. The sidewalls let you pile on the onions & chili without them sliding off. As I recall from the forum conversations, these are no longer made.

King Arthur has a recipe for New England Hot Dog Buns.

Apparently these are used for lobster rolls. The sides are not as high as the caddies.

Another one was Nabisco Blueberry Fruit Wheats. Not frosted. Not flavored frosting, but jelly like fruit in the middle of bite-sized shredded wheat. I used to eat them right out of the box with coffee. :(

Cajun/Creole cuisine. It irks me to no end that it is so hard to find around here.

That's an interesting observation. I don't know that I've ever seen (or eaten at) a Cajun restaurant, authentic or wannabe. And I lived near DC for over 45 years, where there were ethnic restaurants all over the place.

When I was working for different companies, we were in New Orleans a lot. It’s a big convention town. I absolutely love the food there. You can find the occasional Jambalaya dish around here, or maybe a blackened dish, but I have not found anything that I would call authentic in terms of flavor.
