Shirley... any bread will do.. I use what I have and add syrup to the French toast...
You can also add some sugar to the egg batter you soak them in..

well, we have about a good 6 inches of snow on the ground and it will stay there..
They are calling for another 20cms of snow by the week-end.. I will believe it when I see it.. They are often wrong..
The high temperature daily is way below freezing and at night, it drops down to somewhere like -17c to -20c...

I’ve been kicked in the past @Louise Miller it’s ballroom dancing so you are supposed to glide on the floor not kick like a horse …but a few think that are doing the jitterbug and bounce up and down like a kangaroo

    Shirley........... Thanks for asking .......
I am getting better almost every day.. I am eating everything except cabbage and its family like broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and fennel.. They cause lots of gas which I can live without at present.. My consumption has increased a lot as well.. I guess my stomach is slowly stretching.. I am gaining weight slowly.. I have started cooking again..
The best one of all is.............. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN AT ALL ...... I am still quite weak though..

    Alerts in Effect
    Special Weather Statement
Issued at 15:46 Friday 03 December 2021 Winter storm expected Sunday afternoon through Monday.

I JUST RECEIVED THIS NOTICE FROM ENVIRONMENT CANADA...
CHECK IT OUT !!!! A WINTER STORM...

    Hazards:
Heavy snow. Total snowfall accumulations of 20 to 35 cm.
Strong winds with gusts of 70 to 90 km/h.
Risk of freezing rain for some areas.
    Heavy rain for some areas.

    When:
    Sunday afternoon through Monday evening.

    Impacts:
    Hazardous travel conditions are expected.

    Discussion:
A strengthening low pressure system is expected to track east across the Great Lakes Sunday through Monday. There remains some uncertainty in the track of this low pressure system and as a result, the snowfall amounts and areas affected by freezing rain and heavy rain could change. At this time, areas north and west of Sudbury are expected to receive mainly snow, whereas areas east and south of Sudbury could see a wintry mix of precipitation. Warnings will be issued as the event draws nearer.

Well, better make sure you have plenty of water and food in the house. sounds like a lockdown for a few days .

If its a wet snow , then be extra careful. but just fluffy snow is not too bad,, who does the plowing ? hope you have someone to do that for you..!!

Either way, i hope its not as bad as they say Steve,,,... Please stay safe and warm..!! oh, be sure you have batteries for your flash lights or candles in case of a outage.. lets pray that does not happen,, and hope your electric does not go out either,, so many times in Maine our we usually lost power especially during that terriable ice storm we had, something i will never forget!!
