Yes Kate.. It does look very bad... Ouch is putting it mildly.. It is healing daily, but it is still very sensitive..
Oh my gosh Steve.,do not feel quilty,!! its was not your fault nor was it your wifes fault. but bless her heart , i bet she ends up with a black eye too, eh? i sure hope not !! but she needs to lay still for several days,, Bless her heart,, Does she talk blood thinners ? i hope? i would keep an ice pack on her head, to keep the swelling down.. please let us know how she is fairing during this event,..steve..!!!
No.. She doesn't take blood thinners.. Obviously, it was a stupid accident and I really feel bad.. I am totally spoiling her as much as I can.. She is tough and won't let it stop her from doing what she does in the house.. Naturally i help and do lots, but she is still herself and won't stop.. The swelling is gone and putting ice isn't going to do any good.. Ice was put in the first few minutes to bring down the swelling, but not now.. She will be OK in a week or so...
Steve, that looks horrible. Take a picture of it when her eye area turns purple, blue and green. But don't tell her I said that. Seriously, though, I'm sorry it happened. Tell her that I'm sending wishes that she will soon be well.
So far, it hasn't dropped to her eye.. It seems to be getting better.. It doesn't hurt anymore.. We shall see what the next few days looks like...
Keep the ice packs on it,, That helps the swelling go down faster!!!! She can wear a bandanna to keep the ice bag in place,, And crush up the ice ,, it makes it less bulky,, Hope she gets over it soon,,!!
We are hoping we get our internet connected this week so I can play games on here, We had a phone call late on Friday from Telstra our main telecommunications supplier, who was once the one and only supplier for home phones but once mobile phones hit the market dozens of phone suppliers popped up . The lady who phoned us sent a text asking me to answer the call before she phoned she explained due to so many scams involving Telstra S name people just hang up ( that’s if they answer the phone ) , I won’t answer a number on my mobile that’s not listed as a contact due to scams. Anyway for years we had a incoming calls only home phone ( we couldn’t make calls ) we really didn’t need it so we pulled the plug long ago but as it’s still registered under our name so it has to be disconnected before the internet can be connected ..,don’t know why … the phone it’s self has been collecting dust on a high shelf in our walk in robe.
Annmarie doesn't have any more swelling.. No need for ice... Thanks anyway for suggesting it.. No games tonight... !!! No reason other than I am tired and I want to go to bed.. See you all tomorrow.. I promised I wouldn't mention the weather again, but it is -44c tonight.. Sorry but I couldn't avoid it... We are nice and warm and comfortable at home.. We don't go out at all..

I came on to play few games as I was up.. I went to the bathroom at 5:00am and had trouble falling back asleep because for some reason, my bones hurt.. I will play till I am tired again and go back to sleep.. Bye for now...............
