A before and after photo of candy we are taking care of She had her first ever grooming yesterday , she was so frightened ..but was overjoyed when we picked her up She’s a 6 month old Cavoodle mini …I'm not sure but her owner said they come in larger and smaller dogs $105 latter …
I made that red rug for her , her owner likes the Sydney swans (NSW) football team and while I was embroidering the design to make it into a small pillow ..part of the embroidery messed up ..broke thread ..skipped stitches ..so rather than bin it I made it into a lined mini rug for candy
This is a photo of our Benji,.... a cavapoo 9 months old... The mother was a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and the father was a poodle.. This was taken a few weeks ago in our living room.. I put a cover over the couch to protect it from the dog..
Candy is a cavoddle Ive been told what mix they are but forget ..poodle + ? I’m going to look it up Steve OK this is what info Mr Google came up with The cavoodle is a hybrid of a cavalier king charles spaniel and a poodle (toy or miniature). They have become increasingly popular over the last 10 years.
Kate.......... That is exactly what I said and we call it a .... cavapoo... Same thing.... I met and I have a picture of our dog's father and mother.. King Charles Cavalier Spaniel was the mother and Poodle was the father... We were told to have ours groomed short and looking at yours, I can now see what he would look like which is not bad for summer.. Winter it would be best to have a longer hair.. Funny how most of these dogs have the same colour which is called ... apricot ... Ours is still a puppy and quite active.. He is scheduled to be neutered on May 1st..
Agree Steve , this little one is quite obedient she’s good for a young pup .. We’ve got her company till March 14th
Ours is a male and usually male dogs are more active than females.. They are also harder to train.. Ours is coming along with patience, love and persistence.. I showed the picture of yours groomed to my wife, and she loves it.. We were hesitant to have ours shaved, but now after seeing yours, we are going to have ours shaved.. We will do it after he gets neutered on May 1st.. Hopefully after his neutering, he will calm down a bit.. He will be 11 months by then..
Candys fur isn’t shaved to the skin Steve altho,it looks quite short it’s still a good 1/2 inch long ..I think it looks neat and tidy and easy to brush ..she feels nice and soft no prickly hair , of course her ear hair is longer and she had a ribbon in her hair when we picked her up
Cute......... Ever so cute........ We are definitely going to have our Benji done, but I think we will wait till after his operation to have him neutered which is on the 1st of May....It will be perfect timing for the summer season..
Its just after 4:00am and I am here all alone.... Well, its back to sleep I go... By the way.............. Our dog goes to sleep in his cage, which is in our bedroom, around midnight and sleeps right through the night till around 9:30 or 10:00 in the morning without waking up.. Then he has to go potty and in many cases, back to sleep for another hour or so...
We won’t take care of dogs that are caged , I guess you have a reason for caging/ training him to sleep in a cage and many do the exact same thing Especially if a dog / pup is prone to be destructive, get up to mischief or flee . We don’t judge it’s not our pets and we dont know the reason some owners decide on that , but I can’t even say why we don’t like it it’s not as if it’s cruel ……remember the little dog we took care of in north Adelaide she was caged when her owner was away …. and she hated it ( not while in our care ) it was while she was being cared for by a professional highly paid sitter Lulu the north Adelaide dog is now deceased
My Granddaughter's dogs are crate trained. Their crates are big. They seem to feel more secure sleeping in them with the doors open. She tells them, "Go to your room" and they go into the crates.
