No not at all , we had fun ….AE was on a table and the dog got up on a chair and got him off the table same dog chewed my $300 shoes He was larger then this …..…..when he chewed AE but this is the culprit…..wrapped in my favourite footy team blanket He is a cavalier King Charles Spanial @Shirley Martin
Shirley... The thoughts of that incident will NEVER leave my mind especially after what I saw.. I refuse to tell you about the gory details, but they are still with me.. Just to let you know, the baby was still wearing a diaper but no clothes.... What made me a bit better was the therapy I had after.. It was absolutely necessary..
Steve let me tell you it makes me feel ill just thinking about it , let alone the horror you witnessed our dear game playing buddy / friend . sending you a nice warm friendly hug all the way from Aussieland Steve
Looking at the answers on the current Bakers dozen game ,I was wondering if anyone would like to start a thread about bridges ( no idea what category it would fit under ) Im thinking what about you @Steve North would you like to post a thread or think it’s worthwhile ? and of course @Shirley Martin thoughts as well ..after all we are a “team” But it would be good to post where others who don’t come to games section can read and maybe post snaps or info about bridges as well I’ve got a thing about bridges , i love seeing the older ones and in our travels i will ask DH to stop if it’s possible to take a photo of what I find fascinating the workmanship that’s been put into old bridges before computers were even thought of , and the very fact some of the ones in Aust where I’ve been to and seen are still standing after almost 100 years tells a story of the workmanship that was thoughtfully put into building them . And did anyone know our famous Paul Hogan was a rigger on Sydney harbour bridge prior to becoming famous for the crocodile dundee movies + other movie's One shining example in Australia is Sydney harbour bridge 19 March 1932 Work begins. The erection of the steelwork commenced in September 1926. The bridge was opened to traffic six years later on 19 March 1932. The completion of the entire work, including the bridge and approaches, took eight years.
Bridges are OK Kate... As long as it isn't about squirming... It has been a long time since I had the memory of the awful incident, but unfortunately it came back with the squirming topic.. No fault of anyone.. Just my problem.. By my telling the story very brief without any gory details, it kind of helped me to unload the mental thoughts..
We are heading home today , so I’ll see ya all in a couple or maybe 3 days it’s 2 days driving ( about 1350 km ) then unpacking when we get home So I’ll see ya all soon
It's a beautiful spring day here. I have windows and doors open. It's a little early but they have been seen on the coast already.

Talking about bridges ….i loved the movie The Bridges of Madison County, where in the US is that bridge ? I’m sure it would be real @Shirley Martin
Madison County is real. I think it's in Massachusetts but don't quote me on that. When I saw that Clint Eastwood would star in the movie, I thought it would be awful. But he was great in it.
