It cost me $70.00 to have him groomed and his nails done..
They gave him a bandana as you can see.. He was also brushed and he smells great..
One problem we have is that the weather is still a bit on the cool side and he doesn't really like the outside without any protection.. Yes he tolerates it..

Yes Kate, ... He does look happy and he seems to like his new feeling.. Mind you, he isn't liking the cold out without any long hair to keep him warm, however he still stays out long enough..

Looks like we started something on here about the dogs and their grooming...

It costs me $20 just to get Miki's nails cut. I'm glad I don't have to have her groomed. :)

Miki and I sat under the carport today to enjoy the nice weather. The pollen was thick. Now my head feels like it is stuffed with cotton. I guess I'll have to wear a mask until the pollen is gone.

That price tag did seem awfully high Steve,,,,, but will last a long time til he has another grooming appointment, i'm sure,... It cost us 10 dollars to have our Beauty cat's nails clipped, well worth it though, even thou she does have a stand up cat scratcher, lol..

Looks like we are not going to have the pleasure of seeing the Solar Eclipes suppose to be a very cloudy day , whaaaaa! but who knows, maybe we will , i hope anyway,, we already have the glasses that we saved from the last solar eclipe's. thank goodness!!!,
I just hope we are able to see it again,

Kate hope your feeling better soon !!

I thought that $70.00 was pretty reasonable for a grooming and a nail cutting..
We will only have him shaved in the spring allowing his hair to grow for the winter months up here..

Now, near the end of April, he is going in to the vet to be neutered..

    ..........THIS JUST CAME IN.........

    Massey, ON
    Weather Maps
    Special Weather Statement
Issued at Tue 5:31 AM Apr. 2
Issued by: Environment and Climate Change Canada
    Description

Early spring storm expected to bring strong winds, rain and the potential for significant snow tonight through Thursday.

    Discussion:
A Colorado low is expected to begin affecting the region tonight. Precipitation is expected to begin as rain transitioning to snow Wednesday morning. Snow, which may be heavy at times, is expected to continue through Wednesday night easing through the day Thursday. Significant snowfall accumulations are possible by the time snow begins to ease on Thursday.

Strong easterly winds will develop tonight with wind gusts up to 90 km/h, possibly up to 100 km/h for Manitoulin Island and areas along the shoreline. The winds will ease on Wednesday afternoon.

    Impacts:
Power outages will be possible. Travel may become hazardous due to accumulating snow and reduced visibility.

Confidence is low as there remains a high degree of uncertainty with the low's track, which will have significant impacts on temperatures, snowfall amounts and when rain will transition to snow. Warnings will be issued as the event draws nearer.
