41 stories high @Steve North We walked about 1.3 km …less then a mile into,the heart of SP last night and there were heaps of people surfing and on the beach ,I believe the waters temp is around 73 F

Finally got back in here, had a hard time trying to get back,anyway , im here today!! its been soo dang hot and cannot be outside for very long,,OYE Been having some problems with my Sciatic Nerve on my upper left leg,, have a hard time walking sometimes and then some days its ok , waiting for my Xray to see what the doc says,,and our heat wave is still in control!.. unabe to stay outside with that 90 degree heat wave we have have been experiencing for a month now, Enough already!! Can't crochet anymore either, Arthritis (sp) is crippling my fingers..so other then arthritis and my Sciatic Nerve cripling my walking ,,i guess i will survive..LOL Going to play some games while im here, Hope ya'll all are in good shape!!
Hey Louise.. Looks like you are having a heck of a time and you are starting to fall apart.. What if we melt you down and start over with a brand new Louise in great shape.. We are now in Coolangatta some 30 km south of Surfers paradise ..so we are sorta heading home …in 6 days time ..in the meantime we are enjoying a bit of luxury at the twin towns resort , which includes a huge buffet breakfast in the tariff
I played a few games before going to bed... I know it is quiet here during the summer.. Its like that every year.. We all have things to do which is great for us instead of being cooped up indoors like the winter months...
Well we only have 2 days left here where it’s warm ………before we take our big trip home to freezing SA Yep we’ve got oodies to keep us warm ..DH has a crows football team one like this …..I’ve got an Aquarius patterned one ……so they will be getting dragged out as soon as we arrive home

Yes Steve ..no snow but nights get down to about …..2C …days can vary ….10c ….to 14 c …. We have a very good economical wood burning slow combustion stove , but I go to bed early and read if it’s exceptionally cold nothing like a nice warm comfy bed when it’s cold
I never realized that it could get that cold where you are... Hmmm !!! Do any of the houses have a heating system like electric baseboard heating, or even a furnace that blows hot air ??? How about a heat pump that gives heat in the colder days and air conditioning in the hot days ???
