Kate........... How about an electric blanket on your bed.. It doesn't use much electricity at all.. We have one on our bed, a Queen size one with duel controls, and in the winter it really keeps us super warm.. We like to have a window open a bit in winter even if it is way below freezing.. We have a good heating system in the bedroom, but an electric blanket is still wonderful.... .........Just a suggestion...............................
Got electric blanket at home Steve , most homes now days have ducted heating / cooling systems called split systems installed I prob won’t catch up for a week heading home first thing tomorrow , for a 3 day trip …lots to do when we get home … Be good see ya in a week or so …

Hello …..I’m home we managed to miss all the severe storms that were forecast for the areas we intended traveling through and arrived home safe and sound ….left Coolangatta QLD on Friday at 7 am ….arrived home at our place at 5.30 pm Saturday We only stopped at one motel and we were awake at 2 am so we got dressed. Made a coffee in our travel mugs and left so we traveled 2.300 km in 2 days
Wow !!! ..... Now you must be totally pooped from that rushed trip... The best part of all that is ........................ HOME SWEET HOME ...... Glad you both are safe and sound...
Yep happy to be home @Steve North , it’s not as if we wanted to do any tourist stuff in areas we’ve been to before Where we booked into the motel is called Parks , it’s famous for the Aussie movie called “The Dish “ it’s where they picked up first landing in the moon by man , in what year .??? 1960 something….??? Think the movie was made in the year 2000…maybe 2021 We visited there many years ago in our caravan traveling days ,in fact I bought DH a huge book all about the stars way ~ way back then , yes he still has it ….and because we live in a country area with next to no pollution we see beautiful stars at night during the summer and DH will go outside on a warm night and look at the stars
We also live in the suburbs of Massey where there is only 980 people.. Clean air and very quiet life as well as very affordable..
Well, another week of working outside and enjoying the summer.. totally quiet on here but that is rather good for now...
Pity this game site is going out.. I rather like it.. Maybe it will continue on anyway with fewer players.. I for one will keep on playing but it isn't fun when I play after my last post.. Oh well, life goes on... Hopefully something will happen...
While it’s tooooo cold outside to do much I’ll be dropping in to play a few games ,but once spring gets here I’ll be outside more . I tend to drop in here right after I’ve had my breakfast which I normally have about 7 am ..in winter I prepare out porridge mix the night before and it’s ready to cook when we get up We have one cup of milk , one cup of rolled oats and one cup of water ….microwaved in a glass jug till cooked
We don't have porridge very often for breakfast.. Mostly eggs of some sort.. Perhaps porridge during the winter, but not during the summer.. I often mix some rolled oats with minced meat to make some different burgers.. Thanks for playing a few games.. It will keep this games site alive for now...

I'm on here for just a short time as I went to the bathroom and have trouble falling back asleep, so I played a few games till I got tired again.. Its just after 4:00am now... Back to sleep I go.....
