If passed, WAC 246-100 will allow local health officers at “his other sole discretion” to “issue an emergency detention order causing a person or group of persons to be immediately detained for purposes of isolation or quarantine. This applies to children as young as 5 years old. “A local health officer may invoke the powers of police officers, sheriffs, constables, and all other officers and employees of any political subdivisions within the jurisdiction of the health department to enforce immediately orders given to effectuate the purposes of this section in accordance with the provisions of RCW 43.20.050(4) and 70.05.120.” It's not the law yet, but it really is proposed legislation on the docket for this session of the state legislature. This is what Biden previously referred to in sending “strike forces” of government agents into American cities and communities to ensure compliance with COVID-19 vaccine mandates. They are turning it into a reality. In America.

Not yet. I didn't and won't have any of the mRNA crap shot into me. I did the initial J&J and would consider their booster but the CDC put the kibosh on it (not enough payola into the CDC foundation?). Local facilities say it's very effective but can't give it out because the CDC is pushing Moderna and Pfizer as per govt. contracts and agreements. It seems it is more about money and less about health and safety. As it is, I don't mask, distance or otherwise run around being worried about covid, so a booster isn't something I give much thought to.
The Covid vaccines are being judged by the length of time an antibody titer is maintained, as that is the only easy way to judge the vaccine. What they should be judging is if the antibody titer appears or jumps post booster. They don't seem to be testing that. Big Pharma sees a gold mine when it appears, and doesn't want to muddy the waters. All vaccines have side effects and should only be given when there is danger to the individual. Trying to maintain herd immunity with a vaccine among people who travel is just stupid.
The other states are only sane as long as The Machine does not jigger elections to the benefit of Democrats, and even that notwithstanding the Fed may be the ones to kick down our doors, local governance be damned. This sure is evil.
The Washington State Board of Health is holding hearings today on that nasty piece of legislation and--due to their being flooded with "Who appointed you Hitler?" phone calls and emails--is back-peddling and swear to God that they are only looking at enforcement of an existing bill regarding AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. While that existing bill (EHSB 1551) is full of such specific references, the bill in question (WAC 246-100) is not, nor does WAC 246-100 connect itself to EHSB 1551. The press release is titled "Clarifying Online Misinformation about the Jan. 12 State Board of Health Public Meeting." They may be backing down for now, but they are lying in the process. We shall see. If this bullet gets dodged for the current legislative session, the national tide may turn before next year rolls around, provide The Fed does not decide to take action.
Generally what happens in that case is that they let the thing die down, and then quietly pass something similar under another ruse.

Yesterday, we scheduled our Covid 19 2nd Booster for in May (next month). We want to get it, mainly because we will be doing a week of traveling (driving) in July and want to be as protected as possible. While we are traveling, we will have a supply of new masks with us, if we want to wear on. Including our Pro Rodeo cloth mask that we'd wear over a regular mask. Again, if we decide to.
