Another African goat adventure: when I worked in Ethiopia, in a town called Mekele, I was located in a small office at street level. We usually kept the front door open because it was pretty hot. One afternoon, I was sitting at my desk doing whatever it was that I was meant to be doing when there was a sudden commotion at the door. Three goats charged into the office, pursued shortly after by a small boy. He looked a little embarrassed and gave us a sheepish (sorry) grin. Between us, we managed to get the goats out and get back to normal. Such is life in Africa - one minute you're talking to someone in a smart suit and carrying a state of the art mobile phone, the next you're wrestling with goats.
