It's not a very diverse state.

I think some of these fruit-cakes are just testing the waters. They see how others, in our highest offices in the US, are getting away with breaking laws, and our constitution, why shouldn't they try it out.

I guess not, learn something new every day. I wouldn't have thought it would be whites being banned from their dough boy and girl competition though:rolleyes:

So is Karen Colberg still running KA? She's white as snow and wondering if she's running for some office :D

Hope this isn't a duplicate "share" but check this out especially the pics, but I guess it doesn't say ALL inclusive.

Putting up a picture like that with the label "diverse" is the stuff of dystopian novels. And I don't blame the regular folk, I blame those who Promote & Profit.

Most ads I run across, not for this product, just elsewhere, I see a truly diverse group of folks. So why wouldn't an intelligent, caring person include true diversity and inclusion. I was thinking of how many of a different nationality, or color of skin (not white) feel about this King Arthur company. I bet a lot would think it was wrong as well. This is just promoting hate among all of us, Americans, etc.

From that first blurb on my link it is a lie that this company is inclusive, and diverse. There again, they see others getting away with lies, rewriting history, new meaning to words. Like diverse means going with only this person or that person, leaving out others.

I don't have that many, so it's easy, I do wonder if King Arthur is going to quit carrying white flour.

I reckon it is because of the huge wheat fields throughout the state of Vermont.

I never saw a single reference to Black History Month on their website or on the Baking Pitchfest website. Here's a blurb...

Does anyone else see the irony here?? Its "core purpose of providing equitable opportunities" is just so much hogwash.

Uh, they can't tackle the "inherent bias in hiring" AND "help POC." I wonder how large this industry is.

People Of Color. Although white is a color, but absent the Edgar Winters among us, very few are white. Just like absent a fraction of Africans and some Caribbean peoples, very few are black. But they gotta use these Terms of Opposites.

Maybe POC really refers to the Rainbow contingent.

As much of a color as black.
