The first one that came to mind for me on reading the thread title is “Passengers”. It’s recent science fiction but very well done and a timeless theme. For some reason, if flew under the radar but everyone around us that has seen it enjoyed it.
Thomas I just watched the trailer and my mind is already spaced out so that is not my kind of movie, but thanks fro suggestion.
This is my all-time favorite movie, and I definitely recommend it ! I have watched this many times, and I love it every time, it is just that kind of a movie.
