    First tip is that Medjool dates have the same effect as prunes, but taste a lot better. Next my Granny swore by olives, and I am sure to eat a couple of the big green ones (stuffed with blue cheese or feta) every breakfast, and before bed.

    I also eat a lot of asparagus (https://draxe.com/asparagus-nutrition/), and besides putting at least a little in most recipes, I make cream of asparagus soup once a week using this mix (https://mpkfoods.com/products/cream-of-broccoli-soup-mix). I used to be able to buy it at supermarkets, but now I have to get it bulk online, which is okay, as it lasts me about half a year.

    @Neville Telen
    When a child, my Mother bought asparagus as often as she could, and I doubt my Dad ever got any of it. She masterfully prepared it with cheese (I think) and butter, and she did this magic also with spinach! I willfully ate the stuff none of my friends would, because it tasted good! Frank

    Gerber asparagus was the first baby food I ever liked, and the only one they didn't have to force feed me. Love at first bite! It pretty much goes with any dang recipe, and I stick some in pretty much any recipe. It's a wonderful vegetable. I'd call it the 'blueberry' of veggies.

    I'd be afraid to do that @Patsy Faye ...I'm so paranoid about things like that...lately because of my health triggered anxiety issues.

    I'd be worried about germs in my saliva getting in my eye.

    Lately my left eyelid will twitch...any remedies for that? :)

    Not bothersome though...happens once every few months and lasts only a few seconds but when it happens, it will happen for a day or two then go away for months again.

    Guess I could google it but I'm avoiding dr Google....not good for my anxiety.

    Whatever the symptom, the end result is always cancer or something else that's just as bad.

    Yep - don't go there - we've put up with it long enough
    I'm gonna try the gold ring next time I get twitchy - may work !
    I'll run it under the tap first

    Gold is used medicinally:

    "Gold treatment includes different forms of gold salts used to treat arthritis. Gold is an effective medicine for controlling some types of arthritis and related diseases. In some people it helps relieve joint pain and stiffness reduce swelling and bone damage and reduce the chance of joint deformity and disability."
