With all that kind of trouble, me thinks thou movest to yon wrong state. We do not have those problems. We understand that a business has every right to insist on masks and if we do not like it, we do not go there. Easy. No fights, no fuss, no mess. Even the guys and gals with those evil, nasty and dreaded tattoos do not give any guff to the oldsters at the doorways.
For the most part, it’s called respect.

So now that there are almost NO deaths from this virus, and the people that get it do not even know they have it unless they are tested (and even mangos come back as positive for covid), NOW they are coming down hard on having to wear masks everywhere, all of the time.
I guess we need more riots, so people can not have to worry about social distancing or getting the virus again.

I can't find the article now but recently I saw where Walmart was petitioning to have it mandatory that all people must wear a mask in all of their stores.

I have noticed quite a few people who are out and about not wearing a mask or social distancing. It's as though nothing has ever happened.

My neighbor was in a store recently where some guy - she says in his 30's - came in with a bullhorn and began yelling about how nobody was going to make him wear a mask if and someone thought they wanted to take him to "bring it". She said when she was leaving the store she say 2 police cars out front and the bullhorn guy was having a heated discussion with the officers. Not sure how that ended!

There are those who will comply and those who won't .. that is nature of the human race.

Do what is best for you and if that includes masking and wearing gloves .... stay away from those who don't participate.

I just wish when people are out there that they would respect others. If you are masked stay away from the masked .. if you are unmasked stay away from the masked.

We all make our own choices and neither should confront the other for their choices unless it is a law and you are law enforcement.

Do your business and leave if you are unhappy .. but most of all ..regardless if you are wearing a mask or not .. try to stay safe so you can live the healthiest life possible.

That we know of, or have read, there hasn't been any confrontations here dealing with mask wearing.

Oh, I forgot, our Governor also said "It's each Coloradan's responsibility to do the right thing in order to curve/stop this virus."

Actually, I would love to see the guy with the tats covering his neck and arms confronted by our Governor for not wearing, and refusing to wear, a mask. Of course, our Governor would have his Security guarding him.

Bobby, sure glad you agree with wife and I now (in red above)! LOL

As far as the word "respect" goes for oldsters here...........very little of that when it comes to how they drive (very, very slow).

Walmart can set any store policy they choose from "No Smoking" to "No Shoes, No Service." If they require a mask to shop in their stores, they can ask you to leave if you show up without one. You can also choose to shop elsewhere if your tender feelings are hurt.

As far as "why a senior citizen telling people they must wear a mask," that senior citizen accepted a job as Greeter for that store and is positioned at the entry. That is the logical point for people to be advised they need a mask whether they have tattoos or not.

How’d we go from wearing masks to old people driving?
And no, obviously I was being a bit “playful” when I wrote about the tattoos. Most folks who wear tattoos also wear masks when they go into a public place around here.
But like I alluded to before Cody. Since you have problems with even the seniors there, you live in a cruddy place.

They get serious about wearing masks in California, where a store security guard shot and killed a customer for not wearing one. -- WFTV-9

Who would have thought Walmart would enforce a dress code?

Unless the customer was listed on the California endangered species list, the security guard will probably get a medal for it.

I’m waiting for a YouTube video of someone walking into Walmart sans clothing with the exception of his or her mask on.

Here is info right from the CDC about the different kinds of masks, what they are for, and what they are not for.

Funny dust can go from Sahara in Africa to Texas but the virus can not go six feet.
It is all politico control. Thank goodness Orange county is now mask free.

In the event that I should ever have a reason to enter a store where a mask is required, I have ordered one. It meets the requirements for a mask, and it's just as useless.
