I think Lon got one response to his inquiry that wasn't way off the thread. I will be leaving town, but I do that every day on my long walks as I live near the city limits. I will be safe since I haven't seen a rattlesnake since early summer and the sheriff and railroad police finally got rid of the hobo camp that was near the walking path.
In keeping with the thread title, I will share this gem of advice. "If you haven't worked all year, then don't fire up the grill today. Since labor isn't for you, just go grab a hot pocket."
