Just to rub salt in our collective wound and state what has already been stated a million times: There are people who--when shown that this is a lie--will say "Well, it could get that bad."
I have a friend like that. I call those people "Pro-virus" or "Pro-covid death" types. It seems the higher the numbers go (legitimately or not) the happier they are.
They cannot prove the virus exist the test will not test for infected people and the masks will not stop a virus. When will the insanity stop.
The staff person works in the Assisted Living part of our community and now ALL residents in AL will be tested along with care providers.
Did the person have symptom, or was their status discovered during a routine test? I hope they're OK.
Remember folks, just like the Senior Double-Dose Flu Shot, you can still get Covid 19 or the Variant even if you've been vaccinated for the Covid 19. This happened to my BIL (wife's brother) a few weeks ago. They didn't tell him if he had Covid 19 or the Variant, but he had one of them. He wasn't that ill when we talked to him on the phone. But, he did have to go outside of where he lives, since he's the only one that can take care of certain things, like banking. My VA doctor told me about that it was still possible to get the flu, even with the Senior shot. The person just won't be nearly as sick as they would be if they didn't have the shot.
I still wonder what the numbers would be for prior flu seasons if everyone got tested and were included in the stats, even if they were asymptomatic.
Incredibly high. If the flu were ever treated like Covid has been, the flu deaths would far exceed anything Covid 19 has done.
