Thank you, Shirley. I get along with country girls (and pretty much everyone else) but country is very good.
Janine, thank you for the welcome. I think I will enjoy my time here. I know I took up a lot of space here but such special welcomes deserve an acknowledgement. I think I got everyone but if not tell me, it wouldn't be on purpose.
Welcome Vada from the wild wild west along the giant river where the mighty sturgeon still swim. To be exact or there about, the eastern part of Oregon or known as Greater Idaho to patriots. Mostly ranching country where we still have a few good real men and us women are proud of it. It sounds like you are in Eastern Colorado. I was country before country was considered cool. By country I mean western ranching. I was never one to wear bid overalls, go barefoot, and chew on a stem of straw while milking old Bessy and while Minnie Pearl was blasting on the barn radio. It was boots and bikinis for me with the Rolling Stones or occasionally Marty Robbins singing his gun slinging ballads. During my working years, it was Johnny Paycheck singing "You can take this job and shove it." I first read your name as Vada Boom and thought you must be from New Jersey or New York or wherever they say bada boom.
