I actually prefer the first name/last name instead of some outrageous username. Maybe some people don't get that it doesn't have to be their real name.
He is probably a perfectly enjoyable guy, but he didn't bring a very good attitude with him here. Then he got angry because I didn't get back to him right away. I was on my cellphone at the doctor's office, and I never access my Admin account from my cellphone, since I am too prone to leaving my cellphone behind in restaurants and hotel rooms. He also seemed angry because this wasn't a UK-based forum, as if I had advertised it as being UK-based or something. I don't know why he would care, as I will let him use all the vowels he wants. Thanks. That often seems to be the case, although I think that I explain it clearly enough. It is stated on the registration screen but people who are used to registering in forums don't always read the text.
''He also seemed angry because this wasn't a UK-based forum, as if I had advertised it as being UK-based or something. I don't know why he would care, as I will let him use all the vowels he wants.'' Cheeky...
Hardly contributed at all And - the rules are plain enough to see, if you don't like them - why join !
In case anyone's wondering, I didn't remove access to his account because he was rude to me, although he was. He threatened to have this forum shut down if I didn't remove his account immediately, although I don't know how he intended to do that. I don't remove accounts once someone has posted, and I couldn't do anything immediately anyhow because I was on my cell phone at the doctor's office, but I did remove everything that was his from the account once I got back home.
It's easy for people to forget that those on the other end of their message are actually people, and when they sign into something online, they feel like they are a customer, and make the kinds of demands that customers might make, failing to realize that I'm not selling anything here. Had he given us a chance, he would have probably worked out just fine.
@Ken Anderson How could any person registered accomplish the shutting down of a forum? Coercion via gov't? What B.S.! Has a group of folks commiserating daily via this new get-together means no rights of presence? Skip my original thoughts that this person was being enigmatic or humorous. What an amazing new and brilliantly illuminated presence the likes of Bill Gates has provided to us! Frank
Norwegian Viking syndrome (NVS) Symptoms include but are not limited to: The inability to hold one's grog and the sporadic need to invade someone else's country. Very closely related to the "Alpha Male" syndrome which can be cured by a slap on the back of the head by an angered wife, but there seems to be no known cure for NVS.
He's from Norway. Maybe they were going to withhold the Peace Prize from Trump unless he shut this forum down.
