I thought a small note about myself would be helpful. I'm from upstate New York, lived here most of my life. I am now in my 70s, with my head thinking I'm still in my 50s. Luckily, in good health, love people in general, I'm very curious about most things. The rest you will soon discover in my future posts. Thanks for having me!
Welcome to the forum, @Gina Scott ! I am one of the Greeters here, and if I can help you in any way as you get used to this forum, just let me know and I am glad to help out. If you click on your name at the top of the page, it opens a box where you can choose your options for alerts, signatures, change avatars, and all kinds of things like that. I am an Idaho cowgirl transplanted to northern Alabama, and looking forward to seeing your future posts here !
Thank you for guiding me into this easily, @Yvonne Smith . I never met an Idaho cowgirl until now! Great start to this happy place!
Hello Gina, welcome, I'm fairly new to the forum myself, I'm still getting the hang of it, but you sound like a resourceful lady who will quickly adapt. Enjoy yourself.
Welcome from Virginia, Gina. I lived outside of DC here from the early 60s and moved to a rural county in the central part of the state in 2010. I've enjoyed your posts.
Gina! I have a small hobby farm in Wisconsin now but I grew up in New York. Went to school in Dobbs Ferry. My brother just moved from Monroe to be closer to his kids in Pittsburg. Hope the Catskills are still green. Welcome to the board.
@Ken Anderson , @Beth Gallagher , @Janine Coral , @John Brunner a special thanks for the warm welcome!
You are from the Hudson Valley area then. It is so pretty there, and yes, the Catskills are still green! Thank you for the nice hello!
@Nancy Hart and @Ed Wilson , thank you for saying hello. It's so nice to see others from different states joining in! For everyone, I look forward to reading the threads, your posts, and unique input into these topics.
