We had a cat who was obsessed with coffee. She must have gotten the habit after finishing up cups of coffee that my wife and I left sitting around. By the time either of us noticed she was drinking coffee, she was obsessed with it. She wouldn't just sample it; she'd drink whatever was left. Of course, we had to start paying attention and dumping out any coffee that we weren't going to drink, and we also had to watch for her stealing coffee from our cups if we set them down for a moment. Obadiah was a coffee junkie.
Two years ago I read that coffee without the sugar or sweet creamer does no harm to a diabetic. Now I have no idea how true that might be but it sure made me feel better even if I'm not diabetic, the future still has a little light left.
