Like every year around this time. Several days in the 90s. A few days with a paltry shower of rain. Solar radiation, steady. Humidity, same-o same-o. Köppen climate classification: Bsk, cold, semi-arid. Climate hasn't changed significantly here for a few thousand years. Even the weather doesn't change much, compared to other places I've been - the Great Lakes, Korean peninsula.

It was 37 F. yesterday morning and 42 F. this morning, and it hasn't gotten above 60 F. for a while. Rain off and on but it is not raining at the moment.

I do understand. I think you have had some of the coldest winter temps in years this year, right?

    Forecast is 92+ on Saturday.

Its a hot sticky draining sort of heat.

Probably not 85 c @Tom Galty :) I do understand Britain is having the warmest summer in quite some time, though.

We have a thunderstorm going on right now. I have to close the windows so that Bubba doesn't get scared. He hates thunder and lightning.

Uh-huh. Bubba is under my desk, by my feet. I have an old teacher's desk, so he is in a place enclosed on three sides. That lightning isn't going to find him, and it would have to get past my feet to get to him.

It is a chilly and breezy 67 here in Alabama this morning. I hunted through my clothes for a warmer shirt and long pants, and am even wearing socks; so getting ready for fall weather here.
I ordered Poodle some new winter shirts to keep him warm on the chilly nights we are now having.
I am drinking some hot coffee and flirting with my husband…….
