Well, part of next week, we won't be in the refrigerator, we'll be in the freezer! And, snow to boot.

It's snowing here as expected; however, the snow isn't falling. It is speeding along horizontally looking for a place to start drifting. Visibility is 50% or lower

Single digits now. Highs in the teens. Windy, cold and blustery. Real January weather. At least we won't get hit like NJ, NY and New England.

We seem to be having a bit of a blizzard here. Earlier, it was just snowing but now the wind is up, as well.

Lovely as hemorrhoids. Finishing 3rd week of being socked in with an inversion. No sun, light breeze from the north, with freezing temps varying about 5 degrees from early morning to afternoon. Despite the gloomy dome that envelopes my abode, my radiant sunshiny attitude brings hope. Old Ms. Sunshine, who would have thunk.

Wellll, I am looking for my speedos. It is 16 ABOVE already this morning after being 15 below a few days earlier. I bring hot water to add to the ice in buckets and everyone was saying it was too hot. It is cloudy but bright. No snow. I think we have enough.

I had some pretty good drifts to shovel through. Without looking, I don't know how many "inches" we got because the wind was so heavy last night that the drifts were the problem. Our driveway wasn't much of a problem at all, particularly the part between our house and the house next door, because the wind blew all of the snow off of that area, but I had a chest-height drift in front of our door, and in the back of the house. Oh, I've seen a lot worse, however.

We had a "weather update", for our area, about an hour ago: Up to a foot of snow and frigid temps coming this afternoon and all day tomorrow. One more winter here, then..............

But, NOT back to Florida or The South. My wife says, "no way, absolutely not".
