We had a beautiful spring week last week with the temps in the high 70’s and very low 80’s. Today, it’s cold, rainy and tonight and tomorrow night is supposed to be around freezing. Of course, that’s all normal and the one saving grace to it all is that Yvonne didn’t pack away the winter stuff like she normally does each year around this time.
Me, either. I was just poking fun. Howsomeever, I did run right out and buy some bread and milk. I told my son that one time and he said, "What are you going to do, make a milk sandwich?"
Whenever it snows around here, there is a run on bread, eggs & milk...then the streets clear up by afternoon. I always ask the cashiers where the French Toast parties are. That line never gets old (for me.)
It was air conditioner weather all day but just a few minutes ago I had to jump up and turn off the air and fan, it got really cool and I opened the front room window and it was windy and cooool. It will be gone soon and not get too far down on the thermometer.
It is staying iffy this week. Is it spring or not? Snowed 6 inches a couple of days ago. 3 inches last nite. Melted this afternoon....Schloggy driveway. Still wearing gloves but sweating if I work.
I had to turn on the roost radiators I have setup for the cats. Two of them sleep there and the 3rd sleeps on a pillow on my desk chair. I started to buy a couple of those carpet mats one for each cat so I can make a box like enclosure and make a stand that all 3 could attach to. They keep wanting to climb onto the top of my computers. A few years ago that would have been alright but today my cases are modern and have ventilated tops which allows dust and cat hair to get inside. I was working on this recent issue with the new machine and had the side covers off and all the inside was exposed and one cat jumped up on the desk and was standing with the front paws on my graphics card. He wouldn't let go and I had to physically get him by his neck and drag him out of the computer. So recently I have started putting things on top of the computer when not in use or working on it to keep that one cat off. I have portable drives and various things sitting on top of all the computers so it wouldn't take much to destroy one dropping it onto the floor. I keep my little spray bottle of water nearby because they love to ignore me
