Ours too, but we still have several feet to go and it is melting slowly, so maybe no flooding?

Going to be in the 20’s here for the next few nights and again next weekend. We had some of the houseplants outside when we had the warmer weather and rain; but Bobby just brought them all inside again with the freezing temps coming tonight and onward until at least the next week.
Definitely no plans to put away the electric blanket or look for cut-offs at this point in time !
It is pretty and sunny and the mint is coming up , so that is good.

OK It was really cold this morning--- 7F. But now it is supposed to warm up into the 40's for about 4 days. If it could just stay there so we don't get ice everywhere...

We are cold again too, down to -10 F. this morning. The sky is clear, so it may get warmer. It did not get above freezing yesterday, however, so it may not get there today either.

63°F and sunny. Cooler than the 80's last week. We're supposed to get down to the mid 40's overnight lows on Thursday/Friday. I think my tomato plants will be OK.

If they have buds or blossoms on them, I would throw a basket or bucket over them at 40 degrees. Most varieties drop blossoms at 45 F. or lower even if the plants don't die.

None have buds yet, so I think they'll be OK.

More snow. It looks like it's going to be messy here for the next few days, with snow at night and rain and sleet during the day.

Hard freeze last night (28F). The water in the jar lid bird bath was frozen solid this morning. Likely got some of the poplar, maple, and Bradford pears. Earlier cold nights zapped most of the daffodils this year.

I cannot decide if daffodils are the most optimistic plants there are, or if they completely lack impulse control.

We got up to 42 F. yesterday and more melting happened. Maybe we're on our way, but it is supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow.
