What part of the country are you in, Vada? I'm in Houston TX and we've a wet spring, too. It's 88 degrees and partly cloudy today.
Colorado Springs at the foot of Pikes Peak. We had a small shower a few minutes ago so it's still only in the 60s.
Still having highs in the 50s F. and lows in the 40s F., but friends to the northeast in Tok (for those who have been here) had 3 inches of snow yesterday and it was still snowing. I don't know what the total was. A friend in Fairbanks reported 22 F. this morning. The person in Tok only had beets and carrots planted outside, but was cleaning the snow off their greenhouse. He won't know if the veggies survived until the snow melts. Where is Al Gore and his global warming when we need him? Probably flying around in his private jet to conferences.... Things are predicted to warm some over the weekend. We'll see....
It hit 90 here for the first time this year but the humidity is low so it's still comfortable. Highs only in the70s predicted for next week though.
It made it to 50 F. today for a high and the snow is coming down the mountains once again as if it were fall. Snow is predicted as a possibility for tonight but apparently the temp is supposed to stay above freezing. It is predicted to resolve by Sunday. It is currently raining.
It's 41 degrees and raining right now. Apparently, some weather forecast said it might snow tonight but I don't see that. Still, it only needs to drop a few degrees and the night is young.
It managed to get up to 60 F. today, but the surrounding mountains are covered with new snow. Weather is supposed to warm a little tomorrow into the 60s perhaps.
It's been wet here all day yesterday, again today and we're likely to get some rain most days next week. It's 59F at the moment. We've been having a very wet and cool spring and the moisture is so welcome. I haven't needed the AC yet this year. I know the heat will come but I'm not in a hurry.
Summer storm pushing through. Seems like we've had one every evening this week; yesterday had hail in the mix.
