I just noticed that the Carnation "Mini-Moos" individual half-and-half coffee creamers are $29 for a box 0f 192. I've had those on auto-delivery for a couple of years, and just a few months ago they were $8.60 for that same box. What the hell?? Guess I'll drink my coffee black.

I don't think it will get any better price wise that's why we bought up so many cans of fish, and 24 cans of corned beef. We can make a lot of meals out of the corned beef and salmon. Never know who may show up hungry either. We can share if need be.Not that we want to advertise though.

Salmon season will open here in May, so there may be canned salmon in our future there. We usually freeze it, but we decommissioned one of our freezers, so the remaining two are pretty full already. Alaskans are "salmon snobs" however, and PINK salmon are never on the menu.
This is the "Biden Tax" on the middle and lower classes, the people he said would not be taxed as a result of his policies. He was very wrong.

Depends on the size of the jar or can, but it is usually about 10 pounds of pressure for 45 minutes or so. You can look it up in the Blue Book or other reference.

Or longer. Unless China will sell us some of the crops they grew here in America on our farm lands. When did we start selling off our resources to foreigners? I know most of our spring water also goes to others, plus its even owned by them aka Nestles taking free water from our springs here in Florida and selling it back to us and the world.

I also hear reports that the Chinese are leaving much of the land they have purchased here fallow, perhaps as a secure investment against inflation...or maybe to receive subsidies from the U.S. Dept of Agriculture to leave the land uncultivated:).

When I was growing up, my folks went fishing almost every weekend, and we often brought home some of the fish that we caught and didn’t eat while we were at the lake camping.
My Grandma Bailey would can the trout, and it was all nice pink meat, and tasted a lot like the cans of pink salmon, maybe even better ! I don’t know what special things you might have to do to can the fish you catch, but it definitely can be done.
She also took the venison scraps and canned mincemeat from those and made the most wonderful mince pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.

    These prices are Walmart based..
    Florger's coffee $8.92 was $6.49
Great value half and half $1.98 for a quart was $1.60
Blue Bell Fudge cycle $5.47 * @John Brunner
Blue Bell half gallon $7.99 was * $5.47
Avocados 78 cents or more was 45 to 50 cents each
1 liter of Coke $2.19 was 99 cents
Point being, Walmart is usually cheaper than most stores, so I already know the other stores here are higher.

I cannot imagine trying to feed a family with what's left after buying gas to get to & from work.

I was just thanking my lucky stars that I was stupid enough (according to my syblings) to be a prepper. I am going to keep my wool this year and maybe try doing something with it.
