Holly, when I'm comfortable, the temperature and bulk is of no consequence!

@Holly Saunders, Still chuckling at your response, but may have misinterpreted the "o/h". Was it, "on the other hand" or something else?
I'll refrain from any other comments until I see your answer.

I've always had some type of sleepwear on for some reasons already mentioned but mostly to be prepared for the unexpected.

Last night I slept for 8 hours under the Desert sky in my portable "hammock". I was in my fleece-lined sweats, my double thermal socks and slippers, and my knit over-the-ears Cap.

It was up to 104 degrees during the day, but after sunset, the High Desert temperature falls like a rock, because the atmosphere is so clear, the ground heat is quickly dissipated.

My dog Barbie joined me on the nearby Chaise Lounge.

It was great falling to sleep under the Constellations I know so well!

Jogging in it? I have an indoor Treadmill for that purpose, which can simulate Hills with its variable incline!

I, too, enjoy a snooze outdoors at night, but am not relaxed knowing that the real denizens of the Desert, scorpions, snakes, and huge centipedes, are all nocturnal in habit......in Colorado, I experienced a scorpion creeping along upside down on the ceiling above me lying in bed! Never got out of bed so fast before!

I need to have some sort of legwear when I sleep, or else my legs will stick together.

Even when I'm wearing walking shorts and take a daytime nap, I'll put a pillow between my legs to prevent them from contacting each other.

    I don't like leg contact.
