I think the internet has shown how easy it is to influence people. Germany was ripe for conflict and blaming Jewish people for all problems was obviously believed by the populace. From there, it was quite simple for the Nazis to go ahead with their ultimate plan. Consider all the innocent people who were slaughtered by the Catholic church because they refused to accept its version of the 'truth'. Fear and intimidation is still being used now by those who wish to impose their own beliefs on the rest of us.
Our constitutional laws protected us for a while. But the previous leader's aka Brits left us with a huge task to correct..
The Jews were outcasts for millennia so it didn't take much effort to turn the German populace against them, plus it was coupled with the Aryan race / Master race ideology.
Ed this is not exactly true history, although popular, still not true in the sense of the word, master race. Hitler was an evil maniac, and the Germans nation was in danger of financial dictatorship, but it sure wasn't just the Jews involved, many were. Including Muslims and Americans. I studied this years ago but forgot much of it.
