Mr.Smith...... was a great movie. I feel sad for the youth and us too but imagine growing up now with such a dim future. I won't say this around young people. I fear they know. So many committing suicide last week was one year since our grandson fatally shot himself, he was 26.
Reading this thread I'm reminded of the movie Conan the Barbarian and its portrayal of the descent into decadence of the societies of an ancient region under a sprawling power overtaking everything.
I feel, we ain't seen nothing yet. Those volcanic eruptions for instance, in Iceland, are an indication that we are in for global changes that will outweigh anything man-made will do us in.
