When I emigrated to Spain..it never occurred to me for one second not to abide by their laws. ...although some seems ridiculous compared to ours, the ramifications if you don't follow them are much higher than in the UK that's for sure...but apart from that, I'm a firm believer in Romans and Rome anyway....
Spain is a country 4 times larger than the UK Patsy...it suits programme makers to show the tiny bad side of it...and tbh..even the bad side is often way better than the bad side of the UK ... The Police corruption and the red tape for everything are 2 of the major flaws
The only bad thing I've seen is the recent fracas regarding independence - every country has its problems Spain is very inviting for many reasons but not a choice for me to live there - too hot anyway
With regard ''hot'' patsy...again it depends where you are... in the North of Spain the temps are very like ours...
