How is everyone impacted coping with Dorian? I see its power has now dropped to 150kph (90mph). We had a mini cyclone in Sydney last nite packing between 100/110kph winds.

I know i do a lot of complaining, along with most everyone.....too hot...too cold...too dry...too wet...too much snow...not enough snow...too windy... not enough wind. When i stop and give myself a reality check, lucky to be where i am, not having to wonder if my home or life will be flooded or blown away, can't imagine. I think because Manitoba seems to be in the middle of Canada, maybe we're sheltered from the worst. Have had low grade tornadoes, twisters, flooding in certain areas, hail, have been loses, but nothing on a large scale like in other parts of the world. Our east coast has been hit hard from Dorian. seems no matter where you are, the weather has become so extreme. Global warming?

When the mini ice age started melting in the 1600's, give or take a hundred years either way, I wonder what the people called it then?
You are right. It was a climate change, not a permanent global warming of epic proportions. :D
