I just saw that Gruesome Newsome is having to revise the State of California budget due to a dramatic loss in tax revenues. Is this because many productive, tax paying people are leaving the state? As the producers leave and the "receivers" remain to enjoy the weather, the balance will continue to tip the wrong direction.

That’s pretty much what the residents of other states have been saying about Californians. Instead of leaving their failing state baggage where it only hurts Californians, they carry a lot of it with them when they pick up residency in other states.
Yeah, we see a lot of it here. Califokies arrive real-estate cash rich, tipping developers to favor high-profit McMansion developments and high-ticket condos and apartments. Locals get squeezed as out demands for services ramp up and property taxes rise accordingly. We have so many roads closed now, torn up to put in larger utility works and then widen them for the increased traffic since the Cokies tend to arrive as a 3 or 4 car household.

The article pointed out that Target likely pays among the highest property taxes of any retailer in the City of Sacramento...not that facts matter
Time for a little blackmail perhaps? Target threatens to close the doors and blames the city attorney. Target could even get a lransactivist flamer to represent them at a news conference.
I think that businesses were getting threats from the state of California from closing stores without giving residents "sufficient notice," whatever that is.
Orion and Meade have both closed their businesses, run out by big government. I found this out because I'm into Astronomy, and bought both my telescopes from these companies. I'll stand with anyone against the evil in this country, and the world while I'm at it. That doesn't mean I'll stand with anyone who doesn't know pure evil when they see it. The biggest problem we have in the US is people won't truly stand together and fight the enemy that is alive and well in America.
