@Denise Evans That jigsaw puzzle site you made that video for has become my go-to. I learned a couple of things you might get some use out of: -Creating an Account doesn't really get you much right now. You will only want to create your account when you want some personal stuff on TheJigsawPuzzles.com: to make puzzles from your own pics (and store it in your personal album), cut puzzles to 300, 400 and 500 pieces, mark completed puzzles (coming soon), compete for best times (coming soon), receive new puzzles via email (coming soon) and many more great "coming soon"s. -Unlike some other sites, you can only create puzzles from your pics for your own use...you cannot "publish" them for public use. I learned a couple of tools that are handy: -There is a Menu item that spreads the unused pieces around and unstacks them from each other, and gets them from on top of what you've assembled so far. Puzzle With The Border Done And Random Pieces In The Way Menu Item Pull Pieces Apart To Spread The Pieces To The Side Off Of The Puzzle Pull Pieces Apart moves all of the loose pieces off of the ones that are so-far connected, so you can also drag a bunch of pieces onto the puzzle to play with them, then get them out of the way all at once. Most puzzle sites have a way to change the background when contrast is needed to make putting each different puzzle together easier (cloud pieces are tough to see on a white background.) Menu Item Change Background Toggles Through Different Colors I've yet to attempt puzzles with a large number of pieces.
I never thought of AUDIO to catch most of the vowels. For some reason, I rarely use the same first word. The second word I choose depends on what the first word reveals. It is an interesting game. I tried the 6 Letter option for a while, but I already struggle a little with "repeat vowel" words with just 5 letters. 6 letters requires I put myself in a state of mind where I can devote more concentration rather than just having fun.
Oh this is great John!! You've learned a bunch I didn't know about Thanks so much! I LOVE the option of making a different background, and also putting new pieces to place "on the table" in plain site option Denise
Currently working on a small puzzle about Tigger and Pooh. 1000 pieces...keeps me from doing housework...bless its heart!
My mother was British. I grew up reading The Saint and Bond novels and Wells and Orwell and many other English authors at a pretty young age. But there was no Pooh in our house.
I started this puzzle last month (February) Every time I'm about to give up on it I find a few more pieces as I'm thinking to do it and I keep at it. I don't like giving up.
I so love Winter scenes like these <3 I too don't like giving up, drive myself crazy with some of my puzzle-games, but sadly, sometimes I don't give up, I more lose interest, hard to stick with one thing.
