I Need To Get More Dietary Calcium But Hate Milk

    So @John Nopales comment made me go look, and there are lots of places that recommend moderation when it comes to milk...only one glass a day (you need 3 to get the USRDA of calcium.) But they recommend cheese & yogurt. Now I'm gonna see if I can find why cheese & yogurt lose the bad components when milk is converted into them...if, in fact, that is good advice.

    I was gonna mention that the only websites that still say to drink 3 glasses a day are government.

    Same dairy industry puts out those ads that won't let us buy raw milk even though it is harmless/healthful and we are adults.

    Milk is NOT the cure anyway, Do your research on Magnesium and how important it is and more so than Calcium..... Mag Deficiency is Huge.... I've been taking Mag for at least 20 yrs....and don't take any calcium slogging stuff.....

    Yesterday I read a lengthy piece on ice creams and yogurt, frozen desserts and it was all bad and some ice creams contain no dairy. Conclusion of the article was to avoid all.

    Don't have one. It was one of those several pieces on the screen when you boot up. But the final note was READ THE INGREDIENTS. I love Turkey Hill ice-cream and it was list as one of the bad guys.

    I eat Stoney Field Organic Vanilla whole milk yogurt, not a lot of sugar in it. It also has probiotics.
    I also eat 'too much' ice cream, vanilla bean, but have slowed down past month.
    I did sprinkle it with cocoa baking powder, no sugar, but ice cream has enough so don't miss the it. Being diabetic I do watch my diet.
