My son-in-law who is a computer guru and has a degree in it to prove uses Linux on all his computers. I think it is more friendly (for him) and he has so much stuff I can't understand. I was once told by a computer guy that Unix is used on mainframes because it runs faster but operations occur at the optimum place for the computer, not the process. Linux is like Unix but the operator/coder/programmer can order the operations to suit the process. I might get him to show me how he does things someday. My other son-in-law relies on Chromebooks, as he isn't as ambitious in his computer stuff and trusts Google completely with is data. The Google stuff is a bit like Apple, as the computers, the phones, the watches, and the tablets all sync easily.
