Perhaps, but the ones that have had the most play are, because the real ones aren't shocking. The kids lying on mats in what appears to be a cage: not technically fake, but it was from 2014, when Obama was in charge. The little crying kid with his hands on the bars of a cage. That one was everywhere, but he was in that cage as part of a protest against immigration control. The picture was cropped so that you didn't see his parents and others holding signs. The photos that are real are carefully chosen for effect, and cropped to avoid everything that might work against the message they want to send. This whole outcry is a media production, and an advertisement for open borders, playing on emotions and against common sense. I know dozens of people who have been in these processing centers and detention facilities repeatedly and, if the places that these people are trying to escape, as we're led to believe, are really so bad, then this is a heck of a lot better than they have had. In reality, however, most of them are just looking to get ahead, and to do so at our expense. Don't expect them to be grateful either because they are acting more like burglars than beggars. They are not asking for help, they are demanding that we give in to them. They won't be any more grateful to our help than home invaders who come in to demand your stuff.
Those photos aren't what affected me....it was thinking about children being separated from parents....if I had been aware of the story when Obama was prez I'd be upset then too. It is about common sense to me...and what's right.
Our government has been separating children from their parents for centuries, so it's interesting that you didn't notice until they told you to.
It is what it is... Illegal immigration wasn't always such issue in the news. Before moving to California I lived in Hungary and wasn't paying attention to American politics that much. Then I moved here with a dying husband ....again politics not a priority in my life. Now that I have lived here and see what's going on....I paid more attention.
If an American citizen brakes the law and is incarcerated the children are not with them when they go to jail. Why would we treat an illegal from another country differently? 85% of these kids parents are still back in their own country and not in the US When will people wake up to the fraud the media is telling them.
You're right. No one cared when Obama was separating parents from children. That wouldn't further their open borders agenda, so there was no call for action. Suddenly, now it's a problem yet some people can't see that they are being played.
The goal that some of you are being conned into furthering is to force an end to all border enforcement. -- NY Post
This is a perfect demonstration how they control people. {action} children being hurt {reaction} we must stop it at all cost. {Solution} let everyone walk in with out stopping them Hegelian Dialectic
Mark Twain is reputed to have said the children "should be put in a barrel at 13 and fed through the bunghole only to be released at 21."
According to a CBS poll, most Americans want illegal alien families either deported or detained, and most Americans are in favor of a border wall. As has so often been the case, despite the furor, Trump knows his constituency on the issues is high enough to reelect him.
The military/police/home land security have at their hands many none lethal deterrence like sound. microwave, water cannons, and probably many other that we know nothing about. They should be tested out at the border. The military showed one not long ago which will turn people around and make them flee. I would be good until they get the wall.
Yes, there seems to be a lot of "If we do it, it's good, but if they do it, it's terrible and it needs to be stopped."
