I looked at the trailer you posted, yes, now I'm sure I saw it. That is definitely one you have to watch more than once....very deep.

Yes, and also some other movies with her. I liked her so much, remember? One was a comedy and her crazy family visit in New York?

Could the name of the movie have been "The Lake House" with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock?

This is my type of love story in films. I'm going to watch it today.

@Terry Page I actually use subtitles a lot, too. My hearing is supposedly fine, but I find that many of the newer films have overwhelming soundtracks. It's irritating when I miss the dialogue due to loud (especially if it's not good) music. I've adjusted my settings and even bought a sound bar to help with the room acoustics, but subtitles/closed captioning help quite a bit.

@Von Jones Let me know what you think. I find her a bit simpering for my taste, but I liked the story line.

No it was a foreign language movie Von and I know it started with a sledging accident, I will track it down when I get home. I liked the "Lake House" too and of course the oldie "Somewhere in Time"

Yes my hearing is OK, but separating speech from background sounds is difficult, plus a lot of realism in modern movie acting, means the speech is often mumbled or slurred with as you say loud background music.

My hearing is also good but when watching movies, especially ones with English accents, I use closed captioning or subtitles.

Even if the film is an American one, sometimes they mumble.

I just watched the movie and I loved it! Both of the actors are unknown to me which I liked. Yes she was a little bit simpering but she had a secret.

Oh good, @Von Jones, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, it's so refreshing to see new (at least to us) faces, rather than the same old ones in every television show and movie. I'm sure that helps with the budget, as well. Hopefully I'll be discovering more gems once I cut the cable and am watching more programming on Netflix and Hulu.
