Yes, I read that too. I'm in no hurry, think I put off my last update a few months. Always clicking "remind me later".
Ohhhh, I bet @Yvonne Smith , is thinking, "Oh no, here comes another confusing session with the 'Tech Zombie'. What was it Popeye use to say? "I yam what I yam." I sorry Tinker !!!!
Just downloaded 10 on iPhone. It is nice to get rid of those apps that I never use.....couldn't do that before. The rest of 10 is nice as well. Will do the download to my wife's iPhone tonight.
Yes, being able to get rid of the apps I'll never use was the main reason I did the update. Also, the music player is suppose to be better.
Can't get the Home app to work. Really wanted to see how that worked. Suppose to be like a Home Security type thing. Anyone know about this app that came with 10?
Got rid of the Home app. Looks like it costs to have it in iTunes. @Chrissy Page..........I wouldn't wait to long to upgrade, no matter what you read about the upgrade. Not upgrading could affect the performance of your iPhone. Any new upgrades for phone or computer, I always get. But, then again, I'm sort of a computer/iPhone "techy" and know what I'm doing/what to look for.
I updated the iPhone and iPads today, as well as updating iTunes , and then I synced everything. So far, everything seems to be working fine. It did take a long time to update everything; but that is pretty usual when they do one of these major iOS updates, at least that has been my experience. The Home app only works with something like a home security system, or probably a garage door opener, and things like that. It doesn't do any of that itself; it is just the place where you control it, anyway that was my understanding of it after watching the Apple Event presentation.
I just got around to updating my iPad, getting used to a few changes but it's all good. What I've noticed is my battery seems to be holding its charge longer...maybe just a fluke and I'm not going on places that drain it too much today...has anyone else noticed that. I haven't updated my phone yet because I back up to my daughters Mac with everything and updating my iPad was just an accident because I hit the wrong thing last night and couldn't stop it...thankfully I didn't lose anything and all went well but I would rather have done it at my daughter's...oh well. This did take longer I thought @Yvonne Smith.
@Ken Anderson i tried to upload an image in the trump post and this is the message I got... So I went and uploaded it from my phone which hasn't been updated yet. Don't understand why I had trouble with that photo. It was a screenshot I took on FB and cropped, something I've done before with no problem. Also had no problem uploading the screenshot of the error message...
I don't know. You should only get that when the file isn't carrying a supported image extension, such as .jpg, .png, etc.
Weird, yet I posted the same photo from my iPhone. This crazy iOS has me making typos too...words appear too quickly. I've been editing all day.
I'm having issues with my iPad since updating to 10 ..it used to auto correct, and I used to be able to touch a picture to save it to my photos / pictures ..I can't do that now either ..I'm a little sorry I updated
I don't have an iPad but my iPhone works a little differently after upgrading the OS. I haven't had any problems with it, but then I haven't tried to upload a photo through my phone either. I just use my phone as a phone (at that, I seldom answer it), for texting, and getting online sometimes while my wife is driving.
