You can not patent a natural virus but you can patent a man made one.
Look at what they have been doing to us. These people are a sick bunch. .

As I long expected, it seems pretty clear that the good Dr. Fauci has indeed had a hand in inventing the virus that should be named for him - the Dr. Fauci Virus, and that the US taxpayers paid millions of dollars to bring it about.

In a sick sort of way, perhaps he is the expert on the virus since he had a lot to do with its invention.

It seems that the Wuhan lab has been conducting what is known as gain-of-function experimentation, which refers to biological research aimed at increasing the virulence and lethality of pathogens and viruses.

Interestingly, President Obama banned such research during his time in office. Not to be held up by silly American qualms about endangering human life, Dr. Fauci shopped it to the lab in Wuhan, which may have already been conducting similar research.

This is the same type of research that the United States used to justify its invasion of Iraq, by the way.

Dr. Fauci, who has headed the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) since 1984, played a significant role in promoting and funding gain-of-function research, both in the United States, before it was banned, and then in China.

This has been reported before but unless the media spells it out for them, most people will only hear the soundbites that are repeated every hour on the hour.

Dr. Fauci told Newsweek that this type of research was worth the risk that it entailed because it enabled scientists to make preparations that could be useful if and when a pandemic occurred.

By the way, gain-of-function research in 2011 resulted in the modification of the H5N1 avian flu virus so that it jumped from birds to mammals, and between mammals, conducted at the University of Wisconsin and the University of Tokyo. Both of these research teams were also funded by Dr. Fauci's NIAID. They used reverse genetics to create a more lethal virus by combining directed mutations and natural selection.

This research was banned in the United States when scientists expressed their concern about such research, escalating when the National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity published its concerns about the such experimentation.

Chinese labs, and the one in Wuhan, in particular, had a poor track record for containment. They weren't alone, however. Multiple laboratory accidents at Center for Disease Control (CDC) laboratories have released smallpox vials, anthrax samples, H5N1 influenza samples, and H9N2 avian influenza pathogens.

Plenty of reputable scientists spoke against gain-of-function research, and President Obama's government suspended gain-of-function research into SARS, MERS, and avian flu viruses in 2014. However, exceptions were made for laboratories at Harvard University, the University of North Carolina, and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, whose high-risk coronavirus research was backed by US funds allocated through Dr. Fauci, who awarded the Wuhan laboratory with a $3.7 million contract after the government has suspended funding for avian flu virus research.

Since 2017, the review process for funding of such research has been more secrative. Dr. Francis Collins, head of the NIH, announced that there would be no further public disclosures about projects funded by the government.

In January of 2018, the Washington Post reported that cables sent from the US Embassy in China warned that the Wuhan laboratory's operations had serious safety problems. One of the cables warned that "the lab's work on coronaviruses and their potential human transmission represented a risk of a new SARS-like pandemic." Note the date. Nevertheless, the good Dr. Fauci's grant provided an additional $3.7 million dollar grant in 2019 for "gain-of-function research for the purpose of understanding how bat coronaviruses could mutate to attack humans."

Additionally, the EcoHealth Alliance, a non-profit that has received millions of dollars from the US government during the Obama and Trump administrations, was involved in this research in Wuhan.

PLOS, a non-profit science, technology, and medicine publisher, warned about the Wuhan lab in 2017 that "The researchers report. having conducted virus infectivity experiments where genetic material is combined from different varieties of SARS-related coronaviruses to form novel chimeric version. This formed part of their research into what mutations were needed to allow certain bat coronaviruses to bind to the human ACE2 receptor - a key step in the human infectivity of SARS-CoV-2."

For a change, please, don't simply fill this thread with quotes from anti-vaccine blogs and dozens of links. If you come across something relevant, read the articles and give us the pertinent points in your own words. In fact, I'd be delighted if there were no links at all. If someone doesn't want to believe you, posting a link isn't going to help

Rather than being the most highly paid employee of the United States government, I believe that Dr. Fauci should be indicted.

One of the bad things that Trump did was to make that bozo a celebrity. Nobody even knew who he was before those "press conferences" that were inquisitions without a time limit. An attempt to be open ended up being a burden.

Tucker Carlson and Senator Rand Paul are bringing this out as something new this week, but the Alliance for Human Research Protection reported on all of that in an article published on May 19, 2020, almost a year ago. It isn't new stuff, but the mainstream media and those who rely upon them for what they consider to be credible ignored it.

Uh-huh. His greatest failing was in practically turning the government over to Dr. Fauci, and he didn't begin distancing himself until just before the election. In fact, Trump wasn't very good at choosing the right people for a job. His greatest enemies were people he hired or promoted to a job where they could do damage. True, he didn't hire Dr. Fauci but he gave him the podium.

I do not have any idea what he is paid, but it is like comparing the danger of a flea as if it was a threat

to the danger of the rabid wolverine the flea is on. The doctros and governments and agencies are all fleas,

compared to the system they are all subject to and deceived by.

From all the reading resources available, including many links on this forum, and thousands others not related to this forum at all,
the so called 'disease' is a total illusion - a fabrication - a "vx theory", nothing in fact.

Even the so-called immzations are based on a computer simulation - they do not have any real substance to make any immunization from. No one in the world has identified in any laboratory any actual virus, disease causing or otherwise,
and "dismantling the viral theory" right now is still available PDF from doctors or scientists (I hope (who knows?) )
online on several websites, proving again, as has been proven every year for over one hundred years,
that there is identifiable (or any identified yet) virus even for hiv, measles, or polio. The fairy tales about being a virus are very profitable though, and will not be dis-lodged in our life times probably, unless Jesus Returns, in which case God's vengeance on all those who cause death/ shed the blood of innocents/ since the beginning will be executed then. The Truth will be published as truth, and the lies nevermore need to be believed.

    No.
Yes, I saw that. The point is that he is guilty mainly of being a pawn or a propagator of the pharmakeia's goals - nothing related to helping the health of people, and nothing true about him or his declarations in public. He just goes along with a made up fairy tale, that's all. (albeit it harms, hinders, or hurts billions of people)

He is a well-paid pawn, in that case. In 2019, the US taxpayers paid him $417,608, which made him the highest-paid employee of the US government, and that doesn't even count his side interests. There is no point in having multiple virus threads if every virus thread is about the same thing that every other virus thread is about, so this one is about Dr. Fauci,

I thought from the hype that he would be being paid millions.
Under a million is barely pocket change worth mentioning in the money pot usa. (all congresses boondoggles and turnips and such) .

I think but am not sure that the patents mentioned are for models of viruses, or simulations via certain computer programs just like man-made video games - not present in real life anywhere, only simulations on paper and on computer, for profit, by making things look a certain way, instead of reality.

Oh, I'm pretty sure he's taking in millions. You don't think he's getting perks? Plus, he has side interests that are available to him solely because of his official positions. Congressmen don't get paid millions but they are all filthy rich by the time they leave office. By comparison, the president's salary is $85,365.
