It's Official - Roe V Wade Is Overturned

Everything isn't. The chief purpose of the Supreme Court was to arbitrate disputes between the states.

 

Someone has got to tell the Fed that their powers are not infinite.

 

So now the Republicans are executing their latest "We've never met an election we can't lose" tactic. Lindsey Graham is introducing legislation banning "late term abortion." I'm preparing an email I am going to send him and McConnell, but I want it to be effective and not just angry.

These saboteurs are doing whatever they can to energize the Democrats' base for no good reason whatsoever. The phrase "late term abortion" has as much meaning as the term "assault weapon." And stats show that only 1% of all abortions are beyond week 13 or 14. Besides, SCOTUS just deemed this to be a state issue...these %@#*&^$ have no idea what a republic is.

 

If I had a way to prove it after the fact, I'd bet money that Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell both voted for Joe Biden in 2020. They are certainly more comfortable with the Democrats in charge.

 

I wonder how much of that stuff is Kabuki theater. Pelosi might have given Mitch permission.

What a friggin' mess.
