At least it's pretty! I remember driving in snow and ice and even blizzards in Chicago and even other places. The worst was My hometown of Pittsburgh because of all the very steep hills...chains were required there, that's the only place I've lived that required them. I only drove there for about 2 years though. From age 16-18. Chains are required here if you go into the mountains, you at least have to have them in your trunk.
We have run into a bit of a snowstorm here in Delaware, which is nothing much to speak of, as compared to what we'll see in Maine over the next few months, but, considering that there are a lot of people who aren't used to - or equipped for - driving on snow, there have been a lot of accidents. Yesterday, the storm was scheduled to move off into the ocean before reaching Maine, but today it is shown as hitting most of Maine, so I don't know what we'll find when we get home tomorrow. Hopefully, one of my neighbors will clear the driveway for me because I really hate getting home from a trip to find my driveway blocked.
Guess I would stay unemployed in the UK...every job I have had the last 20 years- I tell the interviewer..... I dont drive in ice and snow...period...otherwise I will be here and on time.
Ummmmmm, about that, @Ken Anderson . We had some snow flurries yesterday but it didn't stick. Sure was pretty, though.
