Ha! Believe it or not, that didn’t really even catch my attention. All I saw was how perfectly the mouth of the tuba covering the person’s head captured my sentiment about it.

Maybe just an attention grab - "Everybody look at me. I'm special."

It's a bit exhibitionist and horribly insecure to march down a public street solely to parade one's sexuality. Many (not all) loathe their own behaviour and are demanding external validation.

It's disgusting to tolerate public displays, much less promote it.

Yeah, they want the outside world to accept them as normal...when they are not.

But they want the "new normal" and there is nothing normal about their belief. They know it, but they want it, and they want all of us to not just accept them, they want us to agree with them. Fat chance, I'll agree they are wasting their time asking me to believe, and say "you're ok". Why would I lie to anyone, including people that hate the gender they were born as? Agree that you're now a woman, or you're now a man? I don't think so, and the more any of them mess with children the more I'll fight them.

If I were gay, I would deal with it. I would not shove it in people's faces. It would be kind of sad if parent's could not accept me but eventually mine would have settled down.

I have a bad leg. I got a cane--actually several canes. I don't demand you get a cane to make me feel more normal. I keep trying new things for myself.
I suppose I could try to set up a gimp parade.
Handicap accomadations are nice. But my dad was a paraplegic with no welfare support. Just chutzpah.
We all need to learn to pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps again. Welfare and gov't support are safety nets not a way of life.
    Just sayin'.

I'm glad I grew up in a small-sheltered town from some of the things I can barely hand now at 70. I can't imagine being a little girl growing up in these times. And I will never believe it's right for children to be adopted by any couple that is not a true man, and a true woman. Our law-makers are failing us for I don't know how many years, and basically our police are arresting people only for them to be turned loose by some liberal judge. How dare them want to defund the police, it's defund the judges in my opinion, just the damn libs.

I happen to know a few of 'those people'. They are relatively normal and don't throw it in your face.
They are often in long term relationships. So I am on the fence.
I have trouble with the pronoun thing with transgender people.

Darn near each and every day I read something about a transgender athlete winning some kind of championship and all of the understandable ridicule that goes on.

Apparently now the GLBQ community doesn't want anything, or much of anything, to do with transgenders. The GLBQ community have enough public problems of their own (I guess).

@Mary Stetler I just chewed out a grandson for going to a food pantry. Why are you doing that , you have no children and you have good job ? He said it saves him money. I do not give rats ass, that is for people who are down on their luck , have rough patch to go through and kids to feed. As long as you can go to concerts, and by antique guns and etc.. you do not need a food pantry! Seriously I was shocked
