Yeah, the "Plantation Mentality" still exists in much of the Democrat party sadly. Slavery was dying out as the Founders intended and expected until John C. Calhoun revived it with the "it is good for them and they are better off" idea. That revived and invigorated slavery and eventually brought on the Civil War which led to the abolition of slavery. Unfortunately, the Democrats continued to oppress Black people with Jim Crow laws and fights against Civil Rights for the previously enslaved.

Reportedly Harris has been pulled off the campaign trail less that two weeks before the election. Every time she appears publicly her poll numbers drop, so Obama has stepped into her place reportedly, although HIS polls during the end of his second term weren't that great either. When he lectured the Black men that they had to vote for Kamala because she looked like them, it apparently did more harm than good. Dems are also trying to parade celebrities out to support Harris thinking that will help them out. Will it? I don't know.
I do not think that any of it is going to make much difference at this point in time. They are also upset that she didn’t go to the Catholic charity dinner, and instead made a silly video with some woman who is anti-catholic. She is now going to Texas, a pretty much red state, instead of trying to keep voters in the swing states, so people are not happy about that either. Adding to this, I read that Walz’ wife has made a terrible impression on voters, so they do not want her campaigning at all, which has caused problems between Walz and Harris. After Trump did so well with the McDonalds caper, even Newsweek came out to say that Trump was not actually an McDonalds employee…… like anyone would have ever thought that anyway ! They made a big deal out of saying it was staged, when of course, just about all of the political things like this have to be staged, for candidate safety, if for no other reason. Besides just continuing to call Trump bad, Harris does not seem to have much else to actually say, so some people are saying that they should have stuck with Biden, because no one even liked Harris and all the propaganda about her has not been effective. Right after Trump was at McDonalds, they suddenly (supposedly) had an outbreak of Ectolife, only on one kind of burger in all of the places it happened, which many people believe was also a set-up to make Trump and McDonalds look bad. They are at the point where they don’t seem to care how made up the story is, as long as they can come up with some kind of story.
