That's how I see it, its one thing doing a sculpture in the comfort of your studio or the great outdoors but
up there and to capture such a good image - well, its beyond me, way beyond me

 

The measurements are unbelievable. It's hard to imagine taking up such a task. The eyes are 21 FEET long!

 

Its a fantastic achievement

 

Few people have seen the backside of Mt. Rushmore.

I only look at them - don't know their history ….. I did when I 'first' saw it, but then it got lost amongst all the other places

Has anyone ever played around with the google earth app? I used to go on it and walk the sidewalks of cities I've never been to. I wonder if you could look around at some great sites as well. I'm going to download it again tomorrow, check it out and will let you know.

 

@Bess Barber - I tried it and can't get on with it, its OK though like to see lovely views
