Just a bit of friendly advice Sylvia. :)
Sometimes, for clarity, it would be beneficial for you to “quote” a post then post your reply. It just makes the flow so much better and much easier to relate one post with another instead of having to guess which reply goes to which post.
Take it or leave it, it’s your call.....:)

I searched my brain, searched again and couldn’t come up with any occupation or profession that PITA stood for so I asked my wife and she told me and rather bluntly I might add.
Seems I might be qualified for those initials too but I’m not going to ask my wife.

Interesting discourse. I never had a professional anything for which I could a after my name. The only one I could think of,
PDW, isn't a recognized desination by anyone save myself. Professional Dishwasher. However, I was a member of
NAPM for several years and before that N.A.P.A. I started the NAPM branch in Lubock.

On another subject, just to have something to say, which is not often, I paid for my first Spanich course in 1964.The course didn't happen
when the tyeacher absconded with the fees paid by each of the fifteen atendees. I audited a Spanish class at Texas Tech University in '69
or '70 but didn't learn much. In the early 1970s I paid for and attended another Spanish course, learned a little more but found or at least I
thought I found out you had to use the language or you might or would forget it.

You might say or could say I didn't learn anything worthwhile in my endeavors to learn enough of the Spanish language to satisify my curiosity
So, as far as speaking the S panish language is concerned, I am still a dumb bunny. Or not enough grey matter between my ears. I have to
be satisified with my son's attempts at learning something. He teaches Spanish to graduate students, and Spanish Culture and speaks couple
more languages which is par for degree, I suppose. So I assume I have some intellectual properties missing since most everyone seems to
    think Spanish is so learnable.

Bill, I would love to learn Spanish. Thinking of buying one of the software learning packages. Could kick myself for not taking it in high school. I could do that or learn to play this guitar. Spanish would be easier.

When I was put in charge of a barracks in the service, I was known as the CMFIC, which stood for "chief mother f***** in charge".

Classroom Spanish and conversational Spanish are two different things when you speak with a native speaker. I spent three years in Spain in the service.

You have a computer and a printer and the ability to download free software for a template so....have a ball and make as many as you wish.
Oh yeah.....you use a Windows OS. Well, there still should be a free template out there for Window’s users.

Hola, muchacha. Don't buy any program but watch the news in Spanish; this will get your ears used to the language.

Conversation Spanish...with a native...is the way to go. Remember, when you were born nobody gave a book to read or a pencil to write....but your ears / brain began to become used to the language thanks to the people talking around you. This is known as "the natural approach"...which I used in my classes and now to teach adults at the library
