Bobby’s is a Series 4, and mine is the Series 6, and they are both cellular. When they came out with the oxygen sensor on the Series 6, Robin got me the new one; but otherwise, they are pretty much identical, as far as having an EKG, fall alert sensor, and all other capabilities.

Al, mine is a vintage .45 cal. 1928 Thompson, now manufactured the Auto-Ordnance company.

    It's the original "Tommy Gun"!

In full auto, it will fire 600-750 RPM, which can disable any person or car if the fire is well placed.

Mine is limited by the factory to function as a repeater.

Only Law Enforcement or Military models have the full-auto selector.

Mine is always a hit at the pubic shooting ranges, however!

    (Can I touch it, Mister.....?)

Yeah, that's great if you have the strength and flexibiity to get yourself into all those preliminary positions she shows you before hoisting yourself up...BUT I CAN'T, which is why I needed the assistance of two men next door.

If that’s the case then you might want to think about going to physical therapy and maybe laying off the rum and coke for a while.
I’m not kidding Hal. If you’re having that many problems then something has to change and you’re the only one who can make those decisions.

I’m around people nearly every other day who are older than you who had a lot of problems but beat them so they can enjoy life.
No one can recapture yesterday but we can work to make tomorrow a lot easier.

Bobby, as for your Rum & Coke comments, the four doctors I've been recently consulting with (Primary Physician, Orthopedist, Physical Therapist, and now Rheumatoid Arthritis specialist), have not found this to be a problem at all.

My lightweight drink is for evening relaxation, and my cocktail is mixed with a single jigger of Bacardi, in a large cocktail glass with ice cubes and Coke. This is hardly what a serious drinker consumes!

    Here's lookin' at ya!

I have another appointment with my RA man; then he'll give me more information and precscribe meds.

Okay. Have it your way Hal.
Keep hurting, keep falling down and doing the I can’t get up thing and losing your memory but by all means keep making excuses as to why you will not change the way you do things.
In most circumstances a doctor will always say a little toddy is okay and maybe even good at times but did he say anything about all the sugar you’re pounding down with that one toddy?

Contrary to popular belief, old dogs can learn new tricks and in your case, maybe a new trick or two might make a big difference in your quality of life.
I like ya Hal and I want to see you up and around doing stuff with all that gear you have ..........
