Guys, I just finished this necklace (earrings on the way) . Do you think everybody in USA will like this masterpiece?
I am with you, Silvia! This is great free entertainment and I did learn that modern drugstore rodeo horse girls wear cast metal animal and farm equipment pendants and earrings. I am thinking maybe some custom hanging earrings using two pear-shaped coral gemstones mounted and hung with sterling silver. Only fair I mix the modern animal look with the old west art I love and have a pair of bull testicle earrings since my bovine castrations are many.
[QUOTE="Faye Fox, p I love and have a pair of bull testicle earrings since my bovine castrations are many.[/QUOTE] Did you know in Spain one of the most delicious dishes is "Criadillas" (a k a fried bull's testicles)? This dish is always served in a large platter Now, if they bring Criadillas in an small dish you know the "matador" went to Heaven.
Yes, that is a great old joke among my Gitano flamenco friends from Sevilla. They were called Rocky Mountain Oysters in Colorado. The secret is removing the outer membrane and then puncturing the inner membrane and then soaking in saltwater for several hours. One Mexican restaurant that serves them here soaks them in Jalapeno juice overnight. Some in Spain marinate them with olive oil and hot paprika. Good eats, but off track for discussing jewelry, however, my dad did call them the bulls jewels.
@Silvia Benoit -- I notice that when you edit a quote, you are deleting one of the brackets which causes the quote to post incorrectly. This can be quite confusing when trying to read a thread and keep up with who said what. The necklace is gorgeous!
It's removing one of the brackets around the beginning or end quote. Like this...[ ]. They have to be there so the coding doesn't get messed up.
