Mine gets hard as a rock....have to put some in the microwave or remember to take it out of the fridge in time if I want some. It's not even the color of honey but more like wax or if you had added butter but it's pure, at least that's what the label says....uncooked, raw and unfiltered...
Oh, will have to see how mine goes, its OK in the cupboard at the present time, but soon, will have to be the fridge
Creamed honey is still just plain honey, @Chrissy Cross , and it has just been whipped into a lighter color and thicker consistancy. It should not need refrigeration either. You have AC in your house, so even in the cupboard, it won't get too hot and soften up much; but other than that, honey will keep forever. Some honey gets granulated eventually, which is what they call "sugared"; but even that doesn't affect anything. Different types of honey seem to react differently, as far as sugaring out, but if you place the jar in warm water, it will warm up and the sugared grains will be gone.
Thanks @Yvonne Smith , I'll take it out of the fridge. Ive had honey that sugared in my pantry but it was there for years, I had forgotten I had it.
