I deleted my replies, no need to be political again.

Having months and weeks carve out for the recognition of different classes of people just because of what they were born as makes those events political by definition. It's tough to comment in a non-political way.

    Divide & conquer, baby.

What are we discussing, thought it was women's rights. I don't think anyone was born as liberal, that has to be taught.

I mean setting aside months to celebrate anyone who is not a straight white male. I only care because of the Divide & Conquer aspect. And "women's rights" should be no different than "everyone's rights."

There are women's rights, then there are special rights for certain groups that do affect the rights of others.
I'm too tired to discuss much today, but all I'm saying is long as another's right, doesn't infringe on mine or others then I'm all for it.

    Historically speaking,
I maintain that before being incarcerated, we have the right to be silent but as a married male, we have the extra right to say “Yes Dear”.or some such.
It is as it has always been.

I mean, when presented with the fruit of the forbidden tree by Eve, did not Adam say Yes Dear and he did eat even when he knew it was wrong to do so?
And, to coincide with that, Eve knew they were naked before Adam did because she was the first one to take a bite which is probably why she insisted on him taking his share.
And we’ve been saying Yes Dear ever since as part of the eviction deal from Eden.

OK, the "month" is Women's History, not Women's Rights. (I have the right to remain silent but not the inclination. :D) Personally I think all the "months/weeks/days" set aside for any groups don't matter to anyone except a few parade coordinators. They should do away with all the nonsense.

I think Jeff here agrees with you. 3 minute video clip.
Jake quotes him, " I didn't say nothing"
