For a long time now, Marco Poodle’s favorite thing seemed to be his Yoga meditation with his Downward Dog meditation pose.
His favorite place to do this is to hang upside down from the back of Bobby’s chair, with his hind legs dangling over the back of the chair.
It does not look really comfortable to us, but Poodle seems to really enjoy it, so we just say that he is “meditating” when he is up there in that pose.

Now, he has discovered a wonderful new thing to enjoy……. “Kitten-Flix”, his very own version of Netflix.
The new feral kittens have adapted to playing in the yard in the mornings and evenings, and keeping cool under the front porch during the heat of the day.
Poodle can sit on the front porch and watch the kittens scampering around in the yard, and he is totally fascinated.
The kittens are not too sure about Poodle, but they got used to him sitting there and watching them and went back to playing.

When Poodle is sleeping on the back of the big chair (where I sit to read) , he sometimes pulls down the cover that i keep on the chair. Today, it was all in a heap, as usual, and there was a Poodle nose visible.

After @Beth Gallagher wrote a post here about Woot.com, I signed up and now get their emails every day with new stuff they want to sell me. Today, one was pet items, so I was looking through and found a 6-in-1 pet groomer with a vacuum base. It has clippers and several grooming brushes, and the vacuum sucks up all the hair, so there is no mess.

Usually when I clip and groom Marco Poodle, I do it out on the front porch, and we just sweep up the hair, and in the winter, I do it in the bathroom on the sink counter.
Afterwards, i am always covered in Poodle hair and have to change clothes.
This vacuum groomer looks like it would end a lot of that mess, and also suction up any fleas he gets when he goes outside in the summer.

The set is usually about $75, and was on sale on Woot for half off, so I ordered one. We can use it on both dogs, since Rusty is a short haired dog and sheds, and then Bobby has hair all over after he brushes Rusty.
It will be here early in October, so I can report on how it works then. I watched some YT videos with people using it, and it appeared to suck up all the hair, and was not too noisy, and the dogs were okay with it, so I think it will be a handy grooming tool.
